From the day a person is charged, the officers and staff begin a journey with the person, helping them overcome their personal challenges. When an accused person is convicted, the officers and staff help the judge assure that a fair, reasonable and just sentence is imposed. And, when a convicted person is sentenced to probation, or when a convicted person re-enters the community after serving a prison sentence, the journey continues. The officers and staff assure the safety of the community, by ensuring that the person does not engage in further criminal or harmful behavior.
